VERSE 1 — Sanctification & Reverence
Are we encouraged to feed daily on the Word of God, and in the Sunday service?
Or are we learning facts — a history lesson, that won’t move us either way?
VERSE 2 — The Defense of Truth
Do we sing scripture that elevates Jesus, and honours God, or sing about ourselves?
Are we following His lead, or expecting Him to fall in line with our desires?
VERSE 3 — Modesty & Distraction
When we meet are we distracted by good looking people on a concert-like stage?
Let us focus our eye on Jesus, the author and Perfecter of our faith.

VERSE 4 — From Reverence to Rebellion
When did the conversation shift from women covering their heads
to not even a mention of women in hot pants, showing their legs?

Why is it acceptable for famous preachers to fly from mansions in private jets
to speak to large congregations as if they are audiences?
VERSE 6 — Final Warning
Let us defend the gospel, not entertain new age mega church teachings, which add to the scriptures.
The ancients died for these abominations, when God punished their rebellion.
Brothers and sisters, let us dedicate ourselves to holiness.
Come before the Lord God with reverence and fear, knowing He would have us draw near.
