The Way God Sees it

“God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.” 1 Corinthians 1:27

He looks for the unlikely candidate.

the quiet one

the overlooked one

the one not “qualified”

Take David in 1 Samuel 16:

He was left out when all the other sons were presented.

He was just a shepherd boy, not an outwardly strong man.

Yet God knew his heart and faith.

The Lord had delivered him from the lion and the bear 1 Samuel 17:34–36

and would deliver him again. 1 Samuel 17:37

Without Saul’s armour he went into battle faith first. 1 Samuel 17:38–39

He struck down Goliath with a stone, and the battle was the Lord’s 1 Samuel 17:47
